After years of working numerous jobs to help support my family, I was able to launch my professional singing career. In July, 2013, I was inducted into the Independent Recording Artists' Hall Of Fame recognizing my album of original tunes. In November, 2016, I was signed as a recording artist to KMA Records in Nashville. I recently completed my newest CD, "You Need Me", along with the single, "As Far As Lonely Goes". "October Road", co-written and performed by me as well as my other singles has been in the top 20 of most downloaded songs for the past several months.
While continuing to perform as a solo artist, singing in church choirs, and performing special music, I became owner and lead singer for The Big Band From The Valley. Although performing and enjoying many music genres, there is a special place in my heart for country music. So soon thereafter, The Open Road Band was born! We are comprised of local talented musicians who have performed up and down the east coast including Nashville. Our repertoire is quite extensive from George Jones to Eric Church songs. Not only do we provide great country music, but my other band, A Touch Of Blues, performs blues, jazz and standards, along with other genre favorites.
